Over a dozen police cars and vans full of cops stop outside an illegal and partly maskless rave party in Putney, southwest London, early on 20\12\2020. It occered just a few weeks after other officers had raided another illegal gathering at home in Chislehurst, southeast London.

The UK Heath Minister, Matt Hancock, slammed as "totally irresponsible" Londoners who fled the capital on late on 19\12\2020, especially from a packed St. Pancras railway station and especially from a packed and mostly maskless King's Cross railway station.

Ireland, Austria, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Spain, Belgian and the Netherlands ban flights from UK after a case of the London\Kent originated new variant is found in the Netherlands and contained. Some in the UK goverment accused the EU of sceaming against them and said the blockade was a EU plot to undermine the UK.
