GNA forces head towards Tawergha and Sirte as Government of National Accord is trying to defend Libya's main oil terminals from the self-styled Libyan National Army (LNA) rebels who are lead by General Khalifa Haftar.

Only a few places like Misrata are still untouched. Misrata is afraid that it's growing local economy may be ruined it the city is dragged in to the war.

France, Italy and Germany call for sanctions on any nation that is violating an arms embargo in Libya.

The GNA is backed by Turkey.

The LNA is backed by Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Russia.
