The presidential crisis in the USA[edit | edit source]
President Trump belatedly condemns the attack on the Capitol Building. A cop wounded in the insurrection attempt died of his wounds and 4 insurrectionists also died. Every one is shocked by both images of the wreckage in the Capitol Building and by footage of a protester spiting at a AP journalist on Capitol Hill followed shortly an insurrectionist kicking over the journalist's podium and smashing his camera.
the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, demands The Pentation prevent him, from accessing the nuclear launch codes due to mental illness, but apparently they has just preempted her with there own access denial moves against the president.
Constitutional issues[edit | edit source]
The Bill of Rights says:
- Article the third... Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
- The interactionist mob were not behaving "peaceably" in thire actions. Freedom of speech is held as sacred and respected even sometimes were it should be legally curtailed (the President vs. false news, the FAA vs. a terrorist website advocating bombing aircraft, etc.); so attacking a AP journalist for the hell of it was in theory, by extension, unconstitutional.
- Article the fourth... A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
- This means the army, etc.., not an interactionist mob.
